Kelsan® KELTRACK® OnBoard Locomotive is a water based liquid friction modifier designed for application from a freight locomotive through a Lubriquip Inc Trackmaster LLIC™ On-Board Top of Rail control system. When applied after the last tractive wheels, the KELTRACK® is delivered as an atomized spray that dries rapidly after the passage of a few wheels.

Unlike application of a lubricant to the top of the rail, KELTRACK® is intended to remain on the top of the rail after the last car, so that subsequent trains can benefit from the controlled friction.


The Lubriquip TrackMaster LLIC™is a locomotive mounted Top-Of-Rail spray system that is designed to spray Kelsan® KELTRACK® to the Top-Of-Rail. The TrackMaster LLIC™ includes a fully programable control system that is mounted inside the locomotive, a product reservoir to hold KELTRACK® and spray nozzles that are directed at the Top-Of-Rail to spray KELTRACK® at the front and rear wheels.
